Best use of cast stone in a Housing Development

Woodside Cast Stone were asked to supply all the wetcast stone which included 6 x stunning entrance porticos, band and surrounds at First Floor level, Cills / Heads at second floor and roof level Cornice / Coping stones.

Woodside provided a full service which started from meeting the architects to providing detailed working drawings and working with the site managers to meet critical delivery dates which resulted in site manager "Guy Daldleish" winning the NHBC Pride in the Job award for London.

All cast stone items where required were structural including window / door heads and porticos with stone soffits.

Within the 6 porticos Woodside were asked to cast RWP hoppers and overflow pipes into the architrave beams and cast RWP through holes into the roof level cornice so all the guttering could be hidden within the roof parapet walls.
